Welcome to the Art Room!  (and Mrs. Corl’s Website)

I was born and raised in this great valley! I graduated from PVHS in 1987 where I met my sweetheart, and now husband of 22 years. We have three beautiful blessings that we call our daughters; ages 16, 18, and 20.  I have been interested in art since I could walk and I began a higher education in the art field right out of high school, as I studied Advertising Art at W.A.C.C. (now known as the Pennsylvania College of Technology).  I received my Associate Degree, then transferred to Mansfield University and graduated in Dec. 1992 with my Bachelor of Science in Art Education. I have held several teaching positions in art that include Elementary, Middle, and High School levels at Bald Eagle Area and Mifflinburg School Districts. I have also been a substitute teacher in all area schools and grade levels, including Penns Valley.  Last year, I had the great opportunity to complete the school year by serving the last two months as the Guidance teacher of 2-4th graders at the Centre Hall Potter and Miles Township Elementary schools. I am currently the Art Director at Woodward Camp, Inc. each summer and am very excited to be teaching two blocks each morning at the High School that include Painting I and Drawing I classes to grades 9-12. I believe that each student has something valuable to offer and I appreciate each and every one of them!
